Notes for Catherine W. Gilmore:

The 1830 and 1840 census records for Charles Gilmore indicate a girl born between 1825-1830 living in his household and out of the household by 1850. I’m reasonable certain this girl is Catherine W. Gilmore who married Samuel C. Gibson in 1847 in Anderson Co., TX. She and her husband are seen in the same county as Charles Gilmore for 3 decades–Anderson Co., TX in 1850, Johnson Co., TX in 1860, and Robertson Co., TX in 1870. Charles probably died between 1870 & 1880 in which case we see the Gibson family in Jack Co., TX in 1880 and 1900 as well as a known daughter of Charles, Josephine Gilmore Whitsitt
